Stephen Wolfram is the creator of Mathematica. He also may just have revolutionized Internet search. His official website can be found here. Wolfram Alpha is the new search technology which will be released in May 2009. You can find more information on it here. The following video is a lecture / presentation he gave at MIT in 2003 on his A New Kind of Science (NKS). If you haven't seen this, it is excellent. It is about simple rule automata, but expanding automata to... well - I'll let him explain it.
