A team led by scientists at The Scripps Research Institute has solved the structure of one of the receptors that responds to the neurotransmitter dopamine. Although dopamine transmission is essential to normal brain functioning, the biological assembly of the molecules involved in this crucial neuronal interplay had not been known—until now.

Mark Cuban Offers to Bankroll S.E.C. Lawyers to Speed Case
Mr. Cuban, the Internet entrepreneur turned owner of the Dallas Mavericks who the S.E.C. has accused of insider trading, is hoping to speed up the case, which S.E.C. lawyers have said could take eight months to review, Bloomberg News reported.
A lawyer for Mr. Cuban, Stephen Best, told United States District Judge Reggie B. Walton that Mr. Cuban was seeking a creative solution to shorten the time of the review, the news service reported.
